Climate change is bringing new insects to Finland

Three species of fly that were previously unrecorded in Finland have been collected near the very southern tip of the country. Here is a link to the story.

Asian hornet kills a man in France

I've been watching stories about this hornet for a while now. This is the first one that I've seen in english.  I guess someone has to die for the insect stories to make the english-speaking news.
